Who is responsible

What the site collects

Nothing by itself. The site doesn’t use cookies, analytics or advertising tools, and it doesn’t load anything from third-party servers: fonts and images are served from the site itself.

Language choice. Your browser remembers whether you picked English or Ukrainian (in local storage, key site-lang), so the site opens in the same language next time. This stays on your device and is never sent to me.

Server logs. Like any website, the server that hosts it may keep short technical logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser type) to keep the site secure and working. I don’t use them to identify visitors.

When you contact me

The brief form sends what you type (name, email, your project description, timeline and budget) to this site’s own server, which passes it straight to me as a Telegram message. No third-party form service is involved and the form sets no cookies. The site runs on Cloudflare, which acts as my processor and may keep short technical logs.

Email, Telegram, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and Upwork. If you write to me through any of these, I receive what you send: usually your name, contact details and a description of your project. Each of these services processes the data under its own privacy policy. My email is hosted by Google (Gmail), so emails may be stored on Google servers, including outside the EU.

I use these details only to reply to you, discuss the project, prepare an estimate and, if we work together, to carry out the contract.

Legal basis

For visitors from the EU, the legal basis under the GDPR is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and, for server logs, my legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (Art. 6(1)(f)). For visitors from Ukraine, data is processed under the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” on the basis of your consent, given when you contact me, and for concluding and performing a contract.

How long I keep it

As long as needed to reply to you and discuss the project. If we work together, for the duration of the contract and afterwards for as long as the law requires for accounting and tax records. You can ask me to delete your data at any time.

Who else sees it

Nobody, apart from the services mentioned above that carry the messages. I don’t sell, rent or share your data, and I don’t use it for marketing.

Your rights

You can ask me to show you the data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, or give it to you in a portable format. Write to m.dichuk@gmail.com and I’ll reply within 30 days.

If you believe your data is handled wrongly, you can complain to the data protection authority in your EU country or, in Ukraine, to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
