HD Clinic

Context

HD Clinic is a platform for medical products, including medical cannabis and accessories. A patient gets a medical card from a doctor, then browses the products available at a dispensary, orders online and picks the order up in person. Doctors, dispensaries and patients each have their own flow.

My role

I was the architect and developer of the platform. The platform had to guide users through workflows where a mistake can have legal consequences:

• Three role-based flows for doctors, dispensaries and patients, each with its own account and permissions.
• Telehealth consultations: a waiting room, a live queue with real-time notifications, video calls and a summary after each call.
• Medical records that the doctor completes and locks before moving on, so nothing can be changed by accident.
• Privacy-first identifiers for patients and visits, so sensitive data isn’t exposed where it isn’t needed.
• Dispensary catalogue, orders and pickup, plus product management and analytics for dispensaries.

Result

One platform that connects doctors, dispensaries and patients: from the consultation and the medical card to the order and pickup, with patient data handled carefully at every step.
